Since its foundation on July 1, 1981, the Korea Transportation Safety Authority has been responsible for transportation safety in Korea to achieve safer and happier lives of the general public.
In an effort to protect the lives and property of the public, TS works to reduce traffic accidents by ensuring the safety of road, railway, and aviation.
Our goal for the future is to establish advanced transportation system in a greener way and manage safety in a more sustainable way.
TS is making every effort to build a future where everyone in the country will enjoy safer and happier lives and to help Korea join the ranks of the world's top 10 countries in traffic safety by 2020.
