ULV Safety

Introduction

The purpose of the ULV safety inspections, which are performed by KOTSA, is to ensure the safety of ULVs (Ultra Light Vehicles) through a series of inspections that check compliance of each ULV with the relevant regulations and technical standards.

Inspection Types

Inspection Types: Initial Inspection, Annual Inspection, On-major Alteration Inspection, Re-inspection
Subjects of the ULV safety inspection: ULA (Ultra Light Airplane), ULW (Ultra Light Weight-shift-control), ULR (Ultra Light Rotorcraft), PPG (Powered Paraglider), Lighter-than-air, UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)
