Introduction

Conduct a comprehensive audit and determine whether or not the railroad operation organizations are faithfully implementing railroad safety practices in accordance with the Railroad Safety Law. Insure railroad safety by improving problems and by finding and rewarding exemplary cases

Foster excellent railroad vehicle drivers and manage human resources by implementing and managing the railroad vehicle operator's licensing system

Systematically implement railroad safety policy and prevent railroad accidents by managing the fully array of railroad safety information

Spread railroad safety knowledge to persons involved with the railroad industry and to the public in order to enhance safety consciousness
