
Introduction
To relieve the suffering of low-income families caused by automobile accidents, the Act of Compensation for Damage by Automobile Accidents was enacted on February 5, 1999, and the support program began in 2000 to help the children of automobile accident victims grow into sound social members and support the seriously disabled persons and their families to maintain their lifestyle and rehabilitation.

Application Procedures
- Fill out the application form distributed by KOTSA and submit it to KOTSA along with documents proving that the applicant or applicant's family member was in an automobile accident and their living conditions (Application is available by mail).
- Qualified applicants are chosen after a property investigation and grants will be transferred to the selected applicant's account every month starting the following month.
Finances
- The share of the compensation program comes from the amount that covers 1% of the reliable insurance premium, which is a mandatory insurance for automobile owners. The amount, which is within 48% of such a share, as designated by the ministry of construction and transportation, is used as finances to support the victim's family (Item 3, Article 23 of the Enforcement Ordinance of the Act of Compensation for Damage by Car Accident)

Introduction
A rehabilitation center will be built to support people who have been disabled in an automobile accident to facilitate their successful return to society by providing medical and vocational rehabilitation services.
